The Canine place offers friendly and welcoming dog training services in West Yorkshire.

We are based in Roundhay, Leeds and offer 1-2-1 private training sessions in your own home or a suitable outdoor location and classes at local venues.

The private training sessions are tailored to cover the things that are important to you and your dog.

We pride ourselves on our owner support and strive to make sure all our training sessions are fun and effective.

All of our training methods are reward based, kind and in the best interest of your dog.

The Canine Place
We wanted our name to tell you what we are about.....

PLACE = Positive Learning And Canine Enrichment
​
Positive learning is aimed at both dogs and owners; it is as important for you to enjoy teaching your dog as it is for the dog to enjoy learning.
​
We understand that teaching any learner, Canine or Human, takes practice and a gradual increase in difficulty. We aim to make things easy to understand and offer practical solutions so that the training is easy to slot into your day.
​
We offer loads of support during and between sessions and if something isn't going to plan we are there to help you.
​
Canine Enrichment is adding more activities and experiences to your dogs life. This can be done through training games, puzzles, activities or just going some where different for a walk.
At The Canine Place we are always here to give you ideas and encourage you to have a go at something you haven't tried before.

We pride ourselves on being welcoming to all and you don't need to have had any experience of dog training before.
​
Our training methods are all science and reward based. They are not quick fixes but with a little bit of practise and repetition they can have fast results.

OUR LOCATION
We aim to be flexible for our 1-2-1 training sessions and do offer evening and weekend sessions - these can get booked up in advance but we try our best to fit you in as soon as possible.
